All our speakers are very knowledgeable about Islam and have been trained on this presentation using materials provided by the Islamic Networks Group (ING) in San Jose, California, founded in 1993 to promote cultural competency in public institutions. Our speaker training is as follows:
- Training workshop
- In-depth study of speaker training kit
- Written test and evaluation
- Presentation observation: Trainee observes presentations conducted by veteran speakers
- Presentation sharing: Trainee, after passing written test and evaluation, conducts several shared presentations with a veteran speaker.
- Presentation evaluation: Trainee, after conducting several shared presentations with a veteran speaker, is allowed to give a complete presentation in the presence of a veteran speaker.
- After completing the above steps, trainee becomes an Islamic Speakers Bureau of San Diego speaker and can conduct presentations on their own.
- Presentations are periodically reviewed to determine presentation quality.
- Speaker attends refresher training.
